Fish Trading at Flooded Doi Tao 150km South of Chiang Mai City

Today I watch the fish trading at flooded Doi Tao, 150km south of Chiang Mai city. This location is the flood plain of the Ping River and is one of my favourite places in Chiang Mai. The fish caught in the Ping River by the numerous people living on the water, are sold to traders at the waterside, where blocks of ice and bottles of fuel are also traded with the water folk community. I talk about the birds in the area and I fly a drone over the water to show the huge expanse of water created by Bhumibol Dam holding back rains from the last few months.
